Elizabeth D. Rubinstein

Ms. Rubinstein’s practice focuses on eminent domain litigation and mediation. She rejoined Hamre, Rodriguez, Ostrander & Dingess, P.C., in 2020. She previously worked at the firm for 10 years doing primarily eminent domain litigation. She also offers mediation services in a variety of matters including: real estate, landlord/tenant, business, animals, family, commercial transactions, and neighborhood disputes.

Clients have included the E-470 Public Highway Authority, the City of Aurora, the City of Arvada, the City of Longmont, the Aurora Urban Renewal Authority, several metropolitan districts, and various private landowners.

She graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Business Administration in 1993. She received her J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law in 1999 (top 10% of class). While in law school she received an American Jurisprudence Award in criminal law and represented indigent clients through the University of Denver Student Law Office. After law school, Ms. Rubinstein served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Kenneth Stuart in Colorado’s Eighteenth Judicial District.

Elizabeth is a member of the Colorado Bar Association’s Real Estate Section and Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, a past president of the Denver Chapter of the International Right-of-Way Association, has presented on Animal Mediation for the Southeast Metro Law Club, has mediated with Jefferson County Mediation Services, and is a past Vice President of Colorado’s Helping Hands Foundation.
